Advocacy Unlimited, Inc. (AU) offers holistic, peer-led recovery education, advocacy, and support in the areas of mental health, addiction, and trauma. Our approach encourages individual growth, protects human rights, and informs systems transformation.  We use our direct lived experience to inform our approach.
Join Rise Be (JRB) is peer-run emerging adult initiative that operates through AU. JRB is dedicated to making the opportunity of recovery available to all young people across the state of Connecticut. One program of JRB is the Statewide Young Adult Warmline, which is a phone-based peer support line for young adults seeking resources as they navigate challenges and figure out who they are. The position of JRB part-time Young Adult Warmline operator is responsible for answering phone calls, providing peer support, and community outreach.
