Recovery Support Specialist II: Assertive Community Treatment

The RSS in this position will conduct Clinical and Risk Assessments, LOCUS, Co-occurring Screens, and Functional Assessments. They will work collaboratively with individuals to create personalized, person-centered treatment plans and document clients’ progress during treatment. They will use motivational and stage-wise interventions to help clients achieve their goals and progress towards recovery. The RSS will also support individuals in linking and engaging with natural (family, friends) or community supports and offer skills teaching services, such as assisting clients in obtaining/ maintaining housing and utilities, learning how to use transportation services, planning and preparing nutritional meals, being safe in the community, caring for children and other family members, and solving everyday problems that arise. The RSS in this position will be responsible for maintaining documentation in compliance with agency and program standards. Additionally, they will attend staff meetings, supervision, training, and other meetings as assigned while performing additional duties as required.
