Please join us for the next Peer Forum on Friday July 12, 2019, 9am – 11am.
All are welcome! The Peer Forum will be held at Advocacy Unlimited. It is open to anyone working in peer support roles, interested in the role or in advocacy on human rights. You do not have to be a graduate of the Recovery Support Specialist Certification and Training Program (RU); however credits are available for RSS recertification.
We are here to support each other to experience full participation in the community.
Guest Speaker & Facilitator
Laura Le works as the Communications Coordinator at Toivo. Six years ago, Laura tried tapping for the first time, and she was amazed that her negative feelings completely vanished after just a few minutes. She is passionate about sharing this technique, because she wants others to be able to find relief and inner peace on their own. Laura, has completed the Levels I and II of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner training.
Tapping is an emotional version of acupuncture. Unlike acupuncture, tapping does not involve the use of needles. Instead, you stimulate certain points on the body by tapping on them with your fingertips.
After this presentation, you will know enough about tapping to share this healing modality with others.
