Recovery Support Specialist I: The HUB Manchester

The RSS in this position is responsible for using Motivational Interviewing and interventions to help clients achieve their goals and move toward recovery. They will utilize stage-wise interventions, facilitate psycho-educational rehabilitation groups, provide individual coaching, and support individuals in linking with natural or community supports. The RSS in this position will also facilitate skill teaching and support for self-management, self-advocacy, health, and well-being.
The RSS will also assist clients in identifying and combatting negative self-talk and act as a liaison with an individual’s treatment team and external providers. This role also involves executing and completing all assigned tasks related to clubhouse operations, maintaining documentation, participating in all staff meetings, and undertaking additional duties as required.
