Currently seeking for individuals interested in serving as Youth Advocates (Paid Mentors) for 5 hours per week. This is a paid, per diem position. Individuals will work on-on-one with youth who are referred from juvenile probation to set and implement goals that support connection to community, self, education and family.  Youth Advocates serve as positive role models and provide opportunities for family engagement and access to additional resources for youth and family.   This position is a flexible schedule including late afternoons, evenings and weekend activity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*   Associates in Human Services or related field required; Bachelor degree preferred.
*   Experience working one-on-one with youth and families in community based and home-based         settings required
*   Experience working with high risk youth or youth involved in the juvenile justice system a must
*   Valid driver’s license required.
