Recovery Support Specialist

The RSS in this position will be responsible for assessing client needs and developing an Individualized Recovery Plan (IRP) through collaboration with the client and other service providers. They will provide education and consultation to the Clinical Support Team concerning client-centered approaches and provide instruction and skills training in illness and recovery management to clients and their families. The RSS is responsible for working with the Housing Supports Program to assist clients with finding, obtaining, and retaining safe, affordable, and decent housing. They must prepare appropriate documentation to meet the DMHAS PR program and other funding requirements and maintain all client records, including progress notes, service plans, and releases.
