Cultivate your awareness to relate genuinely with the experience of recovering during the transition to adulthood. Through a generationally relevant and developmentally appropriate perspective learn an approach for encouraging self-exploration and personal growth within 18-29 year olds who experience mental health and addiction challenges.
This training is for currently certified RSS, who will receive 8 hours of continuing education credits to go towards maintaining RSS certification.
- Understand the generational trends and developmental tasks of emerging adulthood.
- Gain insight into the process of recovery during the transition to adulthood.
- Develop skills for promoting self-exploration, personal growth, and positive wellbeing.

Michaela I. Fissel is the Acting Executive Director of Advocacy Unlimited, Inc. Since achieving recovery at the age of 21, Michaela made a commitment to establishing pathways for young people to rise as leaders across the behavioral health system of Connecticut.
