Quarterly Advocacy Meeting with Peter Bullimore and Shaun Hunt
Join us on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 9am – 11am
All the way from England! Peter Bullimore & Shaun Hunt
This meeting will be held to give an overview of the difference in working with hearing voices and paranoia by exploring the three different stages of each. Peter and Shaun will guide participants through the stages by presenting Shaun’s narrative to highlight significant points in each stage and look at what actions should be taken during the stages. Both Peter and Shaun have each personally experienced voice hearing and paranoia. Peter runs his own training and consulting agency delivering trainings internationally on hearing voices, childhood trauma, and paranoia. Shaun is a lecturer on recovery in mental health. He has spoken at conferences and delivered trainings in several different countries on various mental health topics.
All are welcome! The Quarterly Advocacy Meeting will be held at Advocacy Unlimited. It is open to anyone working in peer support roles, interested in the role or in advocacy on human rights. You do not have to be a graduate of RU however credits are available for Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) recertification. We are here to support each other to experience full participation in the community.
