Learn How A Spiritual Crisis May Present As Symptoms of Psychosis

2) How to support someone through the process
Meet the Presenter:
Judy Murray will share her experience as she lived through this process with her son Dan. Unfortunately their story ended with Dan’s suicide. This life altering event does not identify Judy but has empowered her. As she chose resiliency over weakness, Judy has found the drive and passion to share the truth that lies in the shadows of “mental illness” with you so that your clients and loved ones do not fall victim to the same fate. You will learn of the potential negative impacts used by our “medical model” can have on one whose psyche is attempting to move through this process of spiritual growth and transformation. You will learn how to support and become a “guide” for someone who may be experiencing a spiritual awakening/or crisis allowing them to complete this process. You will learn of the significant outcome that will transpire at the end of this process.
Recovery Support Specialists receive 2 Continuing Education Credits for participating.
